Stasiun Tawang is one of the railway station in Semarang, Central Java. The station was built in 1914 by the Nederlandsche Indische Spoorwegmaatscharij, a railway company in the Dutch colonial era. The station is located in the old city or well known as Kota Lama, the heritage area in Semarang.
In some parts of the roof there is a dome that shows an architectural styles which was popular during the reign of the Dutch East Indies. Curved lines and square is the dominant field of the wall ornament at Tawang Station. The canopy that shelters the main entrance gives the exclusiveness of this station. Until now, the physical condition of Tawang Station has not changed significantly.
In July 2009 Tawang Station designated as heritage buildings.
